To strengthen the protection of its borders, the EU plans mass arrests of people involved in the illegal transport of migrants in 2022. In total, plans have been prepared for 30 operations. Some will be conducted by individual countries, some by Frontex and Europol. In total, they intend to arrest over 1,000 400 people. Europol will cooperate with Russia, China and Turkey. The operations of Austria and the FRG will be localized in the Western Balkans. And Poland has been instructed to fight illegal migration from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
